Rockin’ on the River concert postponed until August
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Rockin' on the River concert scheduled for July 17 has been canceled, the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District announced. The show will be postponed to an undetermined date in August.
The cancelation is due to inclement weather expected in the area. The concert, featuring Hot Cousin, the Albany Rock Pit Showcase Band and the Chris Busone Band, was originally scheduled for July 10, but was postponed last week as well, also stemming from poor weather.
The concert series continues next week with performances by Blues for Breakfast and Side-B on July 24. The free-to-attend shows kick off at 5:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park in Troy.
