Where to watch 2024 Emmy nominees

The Television Academy has announced the nominations for the 76th Emmy Awards. The awards ceremony will air on Sunday, September 15 on ABC. In the meantime, you can catch up on the nominated programs. Here’s where to stream all the 2024 Emmy nominees in Best Limited Series, Best Drama Series, and Best Comedy Series.

Best Limited Series

Baby Reindeer” 

The British drama is the biggest surprise hit of the year. But it’s not without controversy for Netflix, which is where you can stream this limited series nominee. “Baby Reindeer” earned 11 total nominations. 

Fargo” 

The fifth season of FX’s crime anthology series earned 15 nominations, bringing its total nom count to 70. It has won 6 total, including Best Miniseries in 2014 for its first season. In addition to its series nomination, “Fargo’s” 2024 nods include lead actor for Jon Hamm and lead actress for Juno Temple. “Fargo” is available to stream on Hulu.

Lessons in Chemistry” 

This 1960s-set historical drama stars Brie Larson as chemist-turned-cooking show host who sneaks science education that housewives can use to empower themselves into her recipes. It received 10 total nominations, including lead actress for Larson. It’s streaming on Apple TV+.

Ripley” 

This black-and-white adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel “The Talented Mr. Ripley” secured 14 nominations, including lead actor for Andrew Scott as the title character and outstanding cinematography for Robert Elswit. “Ripley” can be streamed Netflix

True Detective: Night Country” 

The fourth season of HBO’s crime anthology series earned a limited series category-leading 19 nominations, including a history-making nomination for Kali Reis, who became one of the first Indigenous women nominated for an acting Emmy, along with fellow supporting actress in a limited series nominee Lily Gladstone (“Under the Bridge”). “True Detective: Night Country” is available to stream on Max

Best Drama Series

The Crown” 

“The Crown” has gone six-for-six for drama series nominations, getting one more nod for its final season, adding to its total of 87 nominations overall (18 this year). The drama series about the British royal family previously won Best Drama Series for Season 4 in 2021. All six seasons are streaming on Netflix

Fallout” 

The video game adaptation renaissance continues, as “Fallout” becomes the second series based on a video game to earn an Best Drama Series nomination, following “The Last of Us” last year. “Fallout,” a post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, earned 16 nominations for its first season, including lead actor for Walton Goggins. It’s available to stream on Prime Video.  

The Gilded Age” 

HBO’s period drama earned its first Best Drama Series nomination for its second season, along with five others, including acting nods for Carrie Coon and Christine Baranski. It previously won the only Emmy it was nominated for, production design in 2022, a category it’s competing in again this year. “The Gilded Age” can be streamed on Max

The Morning Show” 

Apple TV+’s flagship drama series earned its first drama series nomination for its third season. The TV news drama scooped 16 total nominations this year, its most ever, with a whopping 10 acting nominations. One of them is a second nod for Jon Hamm, who is also nominated for “Fargo.” 

Mr. & Mrs. Smith” 

This spy dramedy based on the 2005 film of the same name earned 16 total nominations, including lead acting nods for Donald Glover and Maya Erskine. Glover also earned a writing nomination for his work on the series. “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” streams on Prime Video

Shōgun” 

FX’s drama series leads all nominees with 25 total nods this year. The feudal drama’s tally includes lead acting nominations for Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada, plus two for writing and two for supporting actors Tadanobu Asano and Takehiro Hira. “Shōgun” is available to stream on Hulu

Slow Horses” 

The spy thriller broke through in its third season, earning nine Emmy nominations after being shut out completely for its first two. Gary Oldman is nominated for Best Drama Actor for his performance, his second-ever Emmy nomination; he was previously nominated in 2001 for guest-starring on “Friends.” “Slow Horses” is streaming on Apple TV+

3 Body Problem” 

This sci-fi epic is up for a total of six Emmys for its first season; aside from its Best Drama Series nod, all of its nominations are in technical categories, including sound mixing and editing and cinematography. It’s available to stream on Netflix

Best Comedy Series 

Abbott Elementary” 

ABC’s workplace comedy earned its third consecutive Best Comedy Series nomination for its third season. Its nine noms this year bring its cumulative total up to 24, with four wins so far. “Abbott Elementary” streams on Hulu.

The Bear” 

Season 2 of FX’s restaurant dramedy earned 23 total nominations, setting a record for most nominations for a season of a comedy series. Those nominations include lead acting nods for Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri. “The Bear” is available to stream on Hulu.

Curb Your Enthusiasm” 

HBO’s mockumentary institution earned its 11th Best Comedy Series nomination for its final season. It’s been nominated every season since its second, in 2002, and has never won. It’s available to stream on Max

Hacks” 

The third season of Max’s showbiz comedy is nominated for 16 Emmys, bringing its total nomination count to 48 so far, with six wins. Jean Smart is looking to win her third comedy lead actress Emmy for her performance as comedian Deborah Vance, which would be her sixth overall.

Only Murders in the Building” 

The mystery comedy is up for 21 Emmys for Season 3, its largest single-season total yet. It earned seven acting nominations, including lead actress Selena Gomez’s first after being snubbed in the first two seasons. It’s streaming on Hulu.

Palm Royale” 

The 1960s period dramedy picked up 11 nominations for its first season. With her supporting actress nomination, Carol Burnett has earned acting nominations in every decade since the 1960s with the exception of the 2010s — and could become the oldest acting Emmys winner ever. “Palm Royale” can be streamed on Apple TV+.

Reservation Dogs” 

FX’s critically acclaimed dramedy about Native American youth earned its first Best Comedy Series nomination for its third and final season. It picked up four nominations this year, including lead actor for D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, bringing its overall total to five. It’s available to stream on Hulu

What We Do in the Shadows” 

FX’s vampire mockumentary picked up its third Best Comedy Series nomination for its fifth season; it was previously nominated for its second and third seasons. It has only won one Emmy so far, Outstanding Sci-Fi/Fantasy Costumes in 2022. The series is streaming on Hulu.
