Billy Ray Cyrus Notches Court Win Amid Divorce Proceedings With Firerose

Billy Ray Cyrus had a very good day in court amid his divorce from Firerose.

If you were unaware, the country music star filed for divorce in late May, less than a year after the couple tied the knot in October 2023.

Their split got contentious, and Billy Ray went to court to accuse her of using his credit cards for large purchases after they split up.

According to him, the charges totaled up to $96,986. He asked the court to put a stop to her spending, and notched a win earlier this month.

According to reporting by People, a judge in Tennessee’s Williamson County agreed that there were “no legitimate reasons for [Firerose] to have access to and make to make any additional charges” on Billy Ray‘s cards.

She will no longer be able to use them, and the couple needs to exchange finance information and need to enter “good faith mediation.”

In statements shared with the outlet, a source close to Firerose said that she “has been cleared.”

Billy Ray‘s legal team did not agree, saying, “Ms. Hodges did not have authorization to use Mr. Cyrus’ business credit card for the charges she made. To the extent Mr. Cyrus had already notified American Express that the charges were being disputed as fraudulent since Ms. Hodges has never been an authorized user on his business credit card nor given any authorization to make the charges she did on his credit card, the Judge issued a ruling to enjoin and restrain Ms. Hodges from further accessing any of Mr. Cyrus’ business or personal accounts.”

The country singer made some big accusations against his estranged wife. She also made some claims about him.
