Three men arrested in connection with June 20 Jennings shooting

JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- Three men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Jennings on June 20, authorities said.

Jonah Landry, 20, of Jennings, is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, illegal discharge of possession firearm by convicted felon and obstruction of justice.

Tarvis Dwayne Williams, 28, of Lake Arthur is charged with principle to attempted first-degree murder and Tanner Wayne Matt, 26, from Gueydan is charged with accessory after the fact.

According to Jennings Police, officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of Levi Street and South Main June 20. One victim was reportedly taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Landry was identified as the alleged gunman and was picked up by US Marshals while he was fishing on a pier. Landry was transported to Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office, then transported to Jennings.

Landry is being held without bond. Bond details for Williams and Matt were not released.
