Kim Kardashian Reveals How She Almost Sliced Off Two of Her Fingers

Kim Kardashian has finally revealed how she injured her fingers.

Earlier this month, the 43-year-old reality star and American Horror Story actress sparked some concerns when she was spotted out several times with two of the fingers on her left hand all bandaged up.

During the latest episode of The Kardasians that Hulu released on Thursday (July 18), Kim revealed how she nearly sliced her two fingers off.

Keep reading to find out more…“What happened to your fingers?” a producer asked Kim as she walked into a doctor’s office.

Kim explained that she was trying to close the sliding glass door when son Saint, 8, distracted her, causing the doors to slam shut on her fingers.

“It went boom and I was like, I looked at my hand and I fell to the ground,” Kim recalled. “I just grabbed the table and got on my knees, I saw all this blood and it was my bone sticking out a little bit and I was like, ‘Get me help, I need ice.’”

She continued, “I didn’t scream, I didn’t anything. I couldn’t do anything but freeze. You can’t even describe the pain, but your whole body goes in shock. It was like more painful than child birth.”

Kim said that the fingers were broken as an X-ray appeared on screen showing a piece of the bone snapped off.

“The tip broke off, so it’s like a floating piece,” Kim explained. “And [the doctor's] like, ‘It’s a possibility your nail will never grow back,’ and I’m like, ‘Come on, I’m gonna invent a nail implant.’”

After spending some time a hyperbaric chamber, a doctor looked at Kim‘s fingers and said that the recovery was looking “great,” which surprised Kim.

“You think that looks great?” Kim questioned as the doctor said that some dried blood appeared around the injury.

“I just want to make sure I will not get this amputated,” Kim continued, as the doctor assured her that her fingers did not need to get amputated.

“I’m not gonna be slowed down. I would give you the middle finger, but I don’t have one,” Kim joked to the cameras.

She also said that the pain has been “horrible,” but she’s not going to slow down her busy schedule.
