Angelina Jolie Seeks End to Legal Battle With Brad Pitt Over Shared Winery, Her Lawyer Issues Statement
Angelina Jolie is seeking an end to the extended legal battle she’s been in with Brad Pitt over their shared winery.
If you were unaware, the A-list exes have been going back and forth for years over Angelina‘s attempts to sell her stakes in the winery that they own together in France.
In a new statement issued by her legal team, Angelina is asking Brad to drop his lawsuit and “end the fighting.”

In a statement shared with People, Angelina‘s lawyer Paul Murphy accused Brad of using the winery and a previous attempt to buy her shares as a way “to punish and control Angelina by demanding a newly expanded NDA to cover his personal misconduct and abuse.”
Angelina referenced the NDA in court documents earlier this year. In a May update, a court agreed to Brad‘s request that Angelina turn over years worth of NDAs that she had employees and others sign.
The battle has continued through this month, with Angelina asking Brad to turn over all communications related to a 2016 incident that took place while their family was on a flight together.
“Those actions are central to these proceedings,” Paul said, adding, “We are not at all surprised Mr. Pitt is afraid to turn over the documents demonstrating these facts.”
He continued, saying, “While Angelina again asks Mr. Pitt to end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing, unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit, Angelina has no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove his allegations wrong.”
