ADB approves $240.5 mn loan for rooftop solar systems in India

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $240.5 million loan to finance rooftop solar systems in India, supporting the country's renewable energy expansion. This funding will back tranches 2 and 3 of the Solar Rooftop Investment Program, focusing on residential installations. The loan will be distributed through the State Bank of India (SBI) and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
