Gold prices today: Yellow metal jumps by Rs 1,200/10gm in this week so far, silver up by Rs 700/kg

Gold August futures climbed to Rs 74,435, while silver September futures increased to Rs 92,380. Gold hit a record high but then saw profit-taking, settling at Rs 74,137 per 10 grams, and silver settled at Rs 91,942 per kilogram, affected by US-China export curbs.
