Yellow warning in effect for high temperatures

A yellow weather warning will be in effect throughout Thursday, the met office announced, due to the hot weather.

The weather warning will be in effect from 11am until 5pm.

According to the warning, issued by the met office, the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 42 degrees Celsius inland and around 32 degrees Celsius in the mountains, while on the coast the temperature will be around 36 degrees.

In the evening the temperature is expected to fall to 24 degrees inland, 25 on the coast, and 21 in the mountains.

The weather is expected to be mostly clear on the weekend.
