Love Island fans issue stern warning to Jessy after she breaks down in tears ahead of cliffhanger ending
LOVE Island fans have issued a stern warning to Jessy Potts after she broke down in tears at the end of the episode.
New bombshell Lola was given the opportunity to steal one of the boys last night, meaning one girl would be left vulnerable.
Lola set her sights on reality star Joey Essex, who is currently coupled up with Jessy and the pair have exchanged a few flirty conversations.
Although Jessy admitted to the other girls that she felt secure with Joey, the blonde star broke down in tears around the fire pit as Lola prepared to make her decision.
Fans have begged Jessy to ditch Joey after he refused to shut things down and continued to entertain Lola.
He’s repeatedly told the boys that he’s not “closed off” with Jessy and then proceeded to tell Lola that he’s open to getting to know her.
She teased him and said: “I think your head can be turned,” to which the Essex lad laughed and replied: “Do you?”
Furious fans took to social media after the conversation, with one writing: “Jessy needs to run from Joey.”
A second posted: “Does Jessy think she’s in the long run with Joey? This guy is here for a cheque.”
A third said: “Joey????? Not closed off???? Jessy must run.”
“Best personality? For your partner?? Jessy run,” a fourth said in reference to the ice challenge game.
While another added: “Jessy must also be a red flag like Joey because how has she not run for the hills?”
During last night’s episode, new bombshell Harry Baker also had to pick an islander to couple up with.
The hunky engineer picked Grace Jackson, who was coupled up with Reuben Collins, after he said he could see them working on the outside.
Elsewhere, Jessy made it very clear with Lola that they were a solid couple.
As Lola took her turn to choose the islander she was going to steal, Jessie and Joey muttered to each other.
“I feel like this boy has made me feel really comfortable and I’d like to get to know him better,” Lola said.
As the dramatic pauses went on, “I don’t think you’ve made it clear,” Jessy said to Joey.
“I have made it clear,” Joey lied.
“I think it’s too late,” Jessie whispered.
“Just trust me,” Joey hissed.
“I can’t,” Jessie admitted.
ITV2 viewers will have to wait until tonight to see who Lola picks.
