Tata Power Renewable and NHPC Renewable to install rooftop solar on government buildings

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) and NHPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NHPC-REL) have partnered to install rooftop solar projects on government buildings under the PM Surya Ghar Yojna Scheme, targeting complete solarisation by 2025. NHPC Ltd, appointed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, will drive the projects through its subsidiary NHPC-REL across Central ministries, states, and Union Territories, as per a regulatory filing by Tata Power.
