Chelsea have made a fresh enquiry for West Ham United linked forward Elye Wahi but are yet to table an offer for the attacker.
The 21-year-old forward’s future at Lens has come under the scanner this summer due to interest from clubs in the Premier League.
West Ham have been keeping tabs on him since last year and he is again on their radar in the ongoing transfer window.
Chelsea have also been monitoring Wahi with a view to potentially taking him to Stamford Bridge in the near future.
According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Chelsea have put in a fresh probe to assess the possibility of signing the forward.
Wahi is a player the Chelsea hierarchy admire but they are yet to table a concrete offer for the Lens striker.
The west London club are waiting to understand what kind of money it would take to sign the forward this summer.
It has been claimed that one more unnamed club have come forward to try and sign Wahi in the ongoing transfer window.
