Storms cause damage at Moreau Little League fields

MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The recent severe weather in Moreau and Saratoga County left the local little league fields damaged, disrupting their season. League members and volunteers were at the fields Tuesday morning attempting to mend what they could.

According to recreation director Jeremy Brogan, one field, designated field three, will be shut down for the rest of the year. A fallen tree crushed the field's backstop.

Field two suffered damage as well, however not as severe. Members are working to build mounds on other fields that aren't normally used to try and keep the season going.
