Love Island shock twist leaves villa horrified as Joey Essex exposes rival’s secret
LOVE Island’s Joey Essex will again be the centre of attention in the villa as he looks set to reveal his “secret mission” – much to his co-star’s horror.
The TOWIE star’s confession is set to send shockwaves around the villa – and leave his ITV2 rival in a very sticky situation indeed.
In Love Island scenes set to air on Thursday, the Couples Goals challenge will play out.
Sean Stone and partner Matilda Draper, both 24, are appointed challenge judges – with the game seeing the Love Island stars air their views on a series of topics and personalities.
Yet when asked which couple are the most likely to have their heads turned, Joey whispers to the group: “I know something no one knows here.”
Those at home know the Essex lad is referring to the fact Mimii, 24, headed to the terrace for a secret rendezvous with Ayo Odukoya, also 24 – asking Joey to send the footballer up there.
At the time, she clambered on the floor of the iconic kissing spot so as to avoid being detected – drawing parallels and a hilarious response from former show star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who did the same thing two years ago.
At the time, fans believed they worked out the reason for Mimii’s less than typical sneaky antics and why she “can’t let Ayo go.”
Yet while the secret ad been kept safe for a few days, the tea may now be spilled.
As part of the game, Joey reveals: “Mimii, there’ve been a few situations that I’ve been involved with that probably people don’t know about.”
When a confused Josh, asks: “What situations?” he then replies: “Well, I was on a bit of a secret mission the other day…”
Josh, who is footballer Paul Pogba’s body double, then quizzes: “What mission?”
Joey, clearly in an awkward spot, then answers: “Well it’s a secret mission, I can’t…”
Yet as more Islanders get involved with the chat, the pressure ramps up.
Challenge host Sean can then be heard saying: “I think you’ve got to share the secret mission.

It remains to be seen if Joey will spill the beans or manage to keep things shrouded in mystery.
Previously, Love Island’s Instagram page joked how “Ekin-Su has another graduate,” after Mimii’s similar antics.
Mental health nurse Mimii clambered across The Terrace’s white flooring while juggling a glass of Prosecco.
She then propped herself up against one of the white sofas and waited for Ayo’s arrival – which sadly never came.
Viewers told how Mimii had “embarrassed herself” with the rejection – which came as Ayo looked to be moving on with Jess S.
Previously, fans also blasted Mimii as “mad” as she chose to kiss her former show partner in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.
