Shoppers have taken to social media to show off the bargain collection, which includes sweet baby grows.

In a clip on the @magicalfindsuk site, one shopper showed how Primark has sleep suits with the famous lion and his pals.

Some of the bundles also came with sweet matching bibs.

The collection – which has been launched to celebrate the film’s 30-year anniversary – is priced from as low as £3.50 for a comforter.

Meanwhile, two Lion King baby sleepsuits cost £9 for a pack.

The website states: “Discover our Disney’s The Lion King clothes & accessories collection!

“Pay homage to your cutest Disney characters whilst getting cosy in Simba pyjamas.

“Or shop our Lion King baby clothes for the baby cub in your life!

The original Lion King film came out in cinemas in 1994 and was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff.

The cartoon film features a voice cast of Matthew Broderick, Whoopi Goldberg and Rowan Atkinson.

Meanwhile, the original songs were written by Elton John and lyricist Tim Rice, with the iconic soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.

We previously shared how secrets of the Lion King’s live action remake five years ago have been revealed by Disney with director Jon Favreau saying it had to “feel like it’s 2019”.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

The director has said that the cast and crew envisioned a “very modern” story for the new version of the tale.

Favreau said that in the years since the original film was released, the comedy has dated and he also said the casting and authenticity of the project had to feel up to date.

The filmmaker, who was also behind the updated version of The Jungle Book, has said he felt a responsibility to honour the original material.

He previously said: “I think the whole thing has to feel like it’s 2019.

“Whether it’s the music, the casting, the visual effects, the way we really try to embrace the authenticity of what inspired the original.

“Then letting the comedy be updated too, and make that feel modern, because that’s one of the areas where I felt 25 years, you felt the difference.”

Favreau has said that he wanted the film to both feel new and like the original version.

He said he wanted the audience response to be: “Even though this is a new movie, I did see the Lion King.”

He added: “Then hopefully the new generation goes back and looks at the old version too.”

Favreau also said that he did not want the audience to miss out on a new experience, wanting to ensure: “It didn’t just feel like, ‘I should have just watched the cartoon’, that this is something that’s building upon something I already love.”
