Emmys 2024: Pete Hammond (Deadline) tops all Experts predicting nominations

Congratulations to our Expert Pete Hammond (Deadline) for an excellent score of 79.02% when predicting the 2024 Emmy nominations on Wednesday morning. He is best among 22 journalists who cover the entertainment industry throughout each year. See Experts’ scores.

Over 3,500 people worldwide predicted these 76th annual Primetime Emmy nominations in 25 categories with Hammond getting 113 of 141 nominee slots correct. The nominations were announced by previous Emmy winners Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

For the other 21 Experts predicting, Nikki Novak (Fandango) and Tom O’Neil (Gold Derby) are tied for second place with 78.32% correct. Wilson Morales (BlackFilmandTV) is next at 78.32% and then Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) at 76.92%. Tied at 75.52% are Shawn Edwards (WDAF) and Marcus Jones (Indiewire). We then have Matt Roush (TV Guide) and Ray Richmond (Gold Derby) at 74.83%. Joyce Eng (Gold Derby) follows at 74.13%.

Dave Nemetz (TV Line) is next at 73.43%. We then have a tie at 72.03% for Christopher Rosen (Gold Derby) and Jazz Tangcay (Variety). Clayton Davis (Variety) and Ben Travers (Indiewire) are next at 71.33%. Following at 70.63% is Susan King (Gold Derby), Peter Travers (ABC) at 69.23%, Keith Simanton (IMDb) at 67.83%), Eric Deggans (NPR) at 67.13% and Thelma Adams (Gold Derby) at 64.34%.

Not completing all categories were Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby) at 52.45% and Kelly Lawler (USA Today) at 41.26%.
