I had three kids before I was 25…trolls say I ‘ruined my life’ but I’ll be laughing at 40 when they’re still wiping bums

A WOMAN has revealed that she had three kids before she turned 25.

Cheyenne Drover, who is from California, US, shared that trolls said she had “ruined” her life by having children young.

However, the brunette beauty was keen to clap back at haters that doubted her and was eager to justify why she chose to have children in her teens.

Whilst the age of consent in the UK is 16, according to the Office for National Statistics, the average age of mothers who give birth in England and Wales is 30.9 years – almost six years older than Cheyenne was by the time she had three children.

Posting on social media, the content creator, who has an impressive 208,400 followers on TikTok, shared a message to “all the young mum haters”.

The mum-of-three claimed that doubters would often judge her decision to become a young mother and say to her: “You ruined your life having kids young.”

But to this, Cheyenne, who was clearly unphased by the rude remark, was eager to clap back, as she explained: “It’s my life not yours.”

As she posed in a white crop top, showing off her full chest and tummy, she then stuck her middle fingers up at haters.

Following this, she claimed that she’s happy she had children young, as she’ll be able to enjoy her forties, unlike older mothers.

The influencer, whose arms are covered in tattoos, then snapped at older parents.

She wrote: “All my kids will be independent by the time I’m 40 while you’re changing a***s and making bottles.”

She then added: “Each to their own.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @cheyennedrover, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 42,800 views.

What does the law say?

The legal age of consent in the UK is 16.

The law is there to protect young people from abuse, harm or being taken advantage of by adults.

It is not designed to criminalise young people and there is no intention to prosecute people under the age of 16 where both mutually agree (consent) and where they are of a similar age.

But children under the age of 13 are considered too young to be able to consent.

Therefore any sexual activity with someone under 13 is illegal and considered rape, sexual abuse or assault.

Children aged 13-15 are therefore unlikely to be prosecuted as long as there isn’t a large age difference between partners and sex is consensual.

Many young mothers agreed with Cheyenne and flocked to the comments to share their own stories on having children young.

One person simply said: “Agreed.”

Another added: “I had my daughter at 17 and now she’s 26 with three kids that I’m still young enough to have fun with.”

A third commented: “Same, my 40s are gonna be the best.”

Here's why I love being a young mum

Tracy Kiss, who fell pregnant at 19, has revealed what she believes are the pros of being a young mother.

The personal trainer and blogger, from Buckinghamshire, believes women who give birth in their teens make BETTER mothers than those in their 30s.

She claims young mums snap back into shape quicker, have more energy and relate more easily to their children, meaning they’re better behaved and happier.

Tracy told Fabulous: “Women who become first-time mums in their teens make better parents than those in their 30s or 40s.

“I believe if I’d been 10 or so years older before becoming a mother then I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my children now.

“For a start, being older I would have had less energy and therefore less patience.

“I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic to speak to people after months of sleepless nights as I was in my teens.

“My body snapped back to its pre-pregnancy size through fitness post-birth, which in turn gave me the confidence to date and find love again. I’ve never been happier than I am now at the age of 30 with two children.

“If I’d have been alone at 40 with a newborn baby I’d be more tired, less happy with my body, less energetic and far more stressed from the shock of living my life for myself instead of putting others first. Sometimes age and the innocence of ignorance is a good thing.

“As a teen mum I just got on with it, found my feet and became responsible and capable because at the time I didn’t know any different.”

At the same time, someone else wrote: “Each parent to their own!!

“I had my first one at 21 and I’ll have my second at 24! My sister doesn’t want kids till she’s 35.”

Meanwhile, one mother explained: “We get to live more life with our kids! I had mine at 20 and 22!”
