Amid housing and addictions crises, transitional help in Thunder Bay, Ont., offers hope

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Northwestern Ontario's transitional housing program supports women and gender diverse people involved with the criminal justice system as they work to meet their long-term housing and recovery goals. Staff and clients say this model of support is essential, but more is needed to reduce wait times for housing and treatment in Thunder Bay.
