Amazon slashes ‘game-changer’ power fan that ‘works like magic’ from £32 to £23 as temperatures set to rises

AMAZON has slashed the cost of a best-selling desk fan by 30% just as the temperatures are set to soar.

Shoppers have been dashing to pick up the Honeywell TurboForce Power fan for £22.90, down from £32.49.

I saw this mini-size, budget-friendly appliance on sat the top of Amazon’s best-selling fans page.

I suspect a lot of shoppers, like me, are thinking about staying cool (or at least, not roasting alive) at home over the coming days.

Let’s face it: summer 2024 has been an up-and-down affair.

But after several weeks of grey skies and sudden downpours, we are being treating to a short little mini-heatwave, as the Met Office predicts temperatures will reach 30C in parts of the UK on Friday (19th July).

If you missed the Amazon Prime Day sales earlier this week, don’t despair: there are still some nice price drops on fans on Amazon right now, including the 30% price drop on this cheap electric fan.

Despite that (usually alarmingly) low price tag, this has racked up a big list of positive reviews on the Amazon website, with one customer describing it as a ‘game-changer’.

You’ll need to look for something bigger and spend more if you want to keep an entire room cool.

But if you’re working from home, and you’re mainly thinking about keeping your immediate space at manageable temperatures, these pint-size fan looks like it will do the job.

It has 3 different speed settings, and can be tilted upward and downward, which means you can set on the floor, or an a tabletop, and point it on whatever direction suits you.

‘Works like magic,’ writes another shopper. ‘[I] don’t know how, but the air feels fresher with this particular fan… I love it.’

One trade-off here, it seems, is noise – this isn’t necessarily the quietest of power fans.

‘[It’s] bulkier and noisier than I would have liked,’ says another buyer, ‘but it still gets the job done. If you can overlook these drawbacks, it is a powerful fan that provides good cooling performance.’
