Metro man arrested on 10 counts of internet crimes against children
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Edmond Police Department arrested a man on Wednesday on multiple counts of internet crimes against children.
According to Edmond PD, its Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force partnered with the Oklahoma City Police Department to serve a search warrant in northwest OKC, near the west side of Edmond's city limits.
Officials say the warrant was part of a child exploitation investigation stemming from a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip led investigators to the residence of 49-year-old Ronnie Redding.
Based on the evidence gathered during the investigation, Redding was arrested on charges of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography, eight counts of Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography. He has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
