Power outages persist throughout the Capital Region

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Power outages continue for a third day across the Capital Region after severe storms hit the state on July 16. Outages permeate throughout numerous counties but remain concentrated in Warren County and Montgomery County.

Gov. Kathy Hochul declared a statewide state of emergency on Tuesday night in the wake of the storms. Road closures are still in place in several areas as debris cleanup efforts continue.

According to National Grid's outage map, the estimated power restoration time is currently 11 p.m. Stay with NEWS10 as updates become available.
