Water main break in Colonie

Authorities say this may cause discoloration in the water supply to surrounding neighborhoods. The discoloration is not harmful and to speed up the clearing, residents can run their tap water cold for 10 to 15 minutes.

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- There is a water main break on the corner of Hawley Avenue and Central Avenue in Colonie. The Village of Colonie says water may be turned off in the area for a period of time while the Department of Public Works works to restore service.
