Joe Jonas Reveals if His Brothers Were 'Annoyed' About His Solo Album, Shares Gross Story About Wearing White Pants Onstage

Joe Jonas shared some anecdotes about his upcoming solo era and more during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

The 34-year-old hitmaker recently announced plans to drop an album called Music For People Who Believe In Love. The lead single arrives this week.

While speaking with Andy Cohen, Joe revealed if the album caused any tension with his Jonas Brothers brothers and bandmates Nick and Kevin.

He also shared some other interesting stories about the JoBros’ pre-tour ritual, feet and a seriously gross story that involved him wearing white pants onstage.

Joe shared that the brothers get together for manicures and pedicures before they embark on any tour. It’s a tradition that can be traced back to their “first big tour.”

Nick was like, he just had it as a gift for us, but then we were like kind of superstitious and we’re like, ‘We gotta do this every tour now,’” he recalled.

When asked if he’s heard from people who have foot fetishes, Joe noted that he’d “recently” been contacted.

“Well, so our youngest brother recently was like, he’s like, ‘Yeah, you guys are on WikiFeet,’ and I was like, ‘What is that,’” Joe said. “And then he showed me how I guess all the guys were on there.”

Speaking of his brothers, Joe was asked if they were “annoyed” about the new solo album.

“Sometimes you just, you know. Siblings can’t share everything,” he said about his decision to release the music as a solo act.

Elsewhere in the interview, he explained, “It’s funny. Nick was like, a different song called ‘Only Love’ that started this project, he was like, he said, ‘Look, I get what you want to do,’ because I had kind of a big conversation. Nick was about to go do a movie with Paul Rudd. Kevin got another season of Claim to Fame, and then I was like, ‘Look, I also want to do music on my own for a bit and just see what that’s, no offense, but that song ‘Only Love’ that you really liked that you’ve been listening to for the last like two weeks that you think is for us. Could I have that for me?’”

Nick took a long pause and was like, ‘D-mn but I get it. It’s all good,’ so I got their blessing. I didn’t, at first, I was just like thinking, I was like, I already had it in my mind that it was mine, but I still had to ask them,” Joe explained.

The hitmaker shared a gross story about performing onstage, too.

When asked if he’d ever peed himself onstage, Joe said he’d “had other issues on stage.”

He continued, clarifying that he “sharted” while wearing white pants.

“Luckily, it didn’t make it to the white jeans,” he said.

Joe isn’t the only brother to have visited a recording studio recently!
