2024 Emmys: Best Comedy Guest Actress episode submissions for all 6 nominees

Who will win the 2024 Emmy Award for Best Comedy Guest Actress? This year’s six nominees are Olivia Colman (“The Bear”), Jamie Lee Curtis (“The Bear”), Kaitlin Olson (“Hacks”), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (“Only Murders in the Building”), Maya Rudolph (“Saturday Night Live”) and Kristen Wiig (“Saturday Night Live”). Nominations for the 2024 Emmys were unveiled on Wednesday, July 17 and the winners will be announced on September 7 and 8 (Creative Arts ceremonies) and September 15 (Primetime ceremony). As a reminder, last year’s winner in this category was Judith Light (“Poker Face”) for the episode “Time of the Monkey.”

Episode: “Forks”
Ballot description: Despite her staff’s initial portrayal as intimidating, Chef Terry is calm and encouraging, especially to Richie during his training. Running the best restaurant in the world, she finds joy in serving customers and excelling at simple tasks, like peeling mushrooms, inspiring loyalty through her serene leadership.

Episode: “Fishes”
Ballot description: Donna, a passionate and complex woman, struggles with overwhelming emotions while preparing the 7 fishes. At dinner, her turmoil erupts; feeling neglected, she impulsively drives a car through the house.

Kaitlin Olson as DJ Vance on “Hacks”
Episode: “The Roast Of Deborah Vance”
Ballot description: DJ agrees to perform at Deborah’s roast in exchange for Deborah attending one of her recovery meetings. DJ is hurt when her mother makes the meeting a testing ground for her roast jokes, but is comforted when she realizes her mother is an addict, too. She’s addicted to getting laughs.
