Trump breaks his 'Voldemort' rule and utters word — twice — that he swore against at RNC

Hours after Former President Donald Trump revealed to Fox News the one word he'd never say at the Republican National Convention, Trump broke that promise.

Twice.

Trump said he shredded his planned remarks as he prepared to accept the GOP nomination for president at the convention, and he reportedly told pal Bret Baier at Fox News there's one word listeners will absolutely not hear.

"There will not be the use of one word in the speech, and that is Biden," Baier said ahead of the convention on Thursday. "He will not say the name Biden in the speech. He may refer to the current administration or current leadership, but he will not use the name Biden."

As Trump blasted the current "administration" over its foreign policy with Iran, he slipped up.

"If you took the 10 worst presidents in the history of the United States, think of it, the 10 worst, added them up, they would'n't have done the damage that Biden has done. Only going to use the term once, Biden. I'm not going to use the name anymore just one time. The damage he's done to this country is unthinkable. Unthinkable."

The internet misses nothing, and mocked the former president for the slip-up.

CBS political correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns reported that Trump went "off script" when he name-checked Biden.

In response, Sofia Kinzinger called the Biden slip-up a "perfect example" of what the Trump White House was like: "pure chaos, planning was impossible."

"Remember the famous 'infrastructure week,' that was a desperate attempt by the comms team to stay on message and set order."

Others joined in on the mockery.

"Uh, you said it twice, Donnie. I know counting to two is difficult, damn," wrote @kelammo.

"#Biden… I’m only going to use it once #Biden,” wrote @ChrisLaw. "Proceeds to use it twice in :03 seconds."

"He even lied about how many times he's going to say Biden name. 'Only going to use the term once,' then says it again," quipped @AnthonyTilghman.

"Trump adopting the Voldemort tactic of not using Biden’s name. 'I’m only going to use it once.' Immediately said his name a second time lol," quipped @HashslingingThe Thursday.
