Oklahoma 2-year-old's Taylor Swift birthday party goes viral

OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok (KFOR) — An Oklahoma two-year-old is her birthday era. A video of her extravagant Taylor Swift themed party is going viral. The party is themed after Swift's song "22".

It was the ultimate birthday party for any Taylor Swift fan.

Complete with life size Taylor Swift cut outs, a bounce house, and a theme perfectly named "Lucille is feelin' 2", which is a play on "22".

"I always knew I was going to have some sort of celebration of Taylor, but I didn't know it was going to be the vehicle of my daughter's second birthday party," said Olivia Castrejana, Lucille's mother and a "swiftie".

Olivia Castrejana said she's loved Taylor Swift since the beginning.

"It's been so exciting to introduce these older eras of Taylor to our kids," said Castrejana.

She got the idea months ago. Red (Lucille's Version), was the blueprint for the party.

"I thought, okay, well, instead of she's going to be two, it's not like it's one. How could we take a play on one of the songs," said Castrejana.

Castrejana's favorite album is Red and the song "22" popped out.

"That song is very upbeat and fun about being 22 and young. And so I said, okay, well, Lucille's not going to be 22. She's going to be two," said Castrejana.

She said the planning started in January and they detailed everything from the balloons to the goodie bags.

"There was probably 50 email chains with 50 different vendors of what to do and how to pick and what items we wanted to have. And it was a doozy. But it all came together," said Castrejana.

2-year-old Lucille is small, but her mother said she's a big Taylor Swift fan.

The duo even got matching dresses for the party.

"She's a rep girly, which that would for sure be my daughter. And I am obviously a red stan. She knows who Taylor Swift is. She gets excited. She likes the songs. My husband is always singing songs, too," said Castrejana.

As for next year, Castrejana said Lucille might not have another elaborate party like this for a while.

"I'm sure that people see this and like, really it's like but it's more than just like about of course, we're celebrating Lucille's party, but my family and I had just moved back to Oklahoma city. We had been gone to St. Louis. [She] didn't get to have a first birthday, so it was kind of all of these great things coming into one place," said Castrejana.

In addition to the album this party was based on, there are 10 other albums or eras as the swifities say and Castrejana said she's had people reach out to her asking to help plan parties for those eras as well.
