A MUM has been jailed for stabbing her boyfriend because he used up all the milk.
Melissa Eynon, 32, had been spared prison in May over the attack with a kitchen knife.
But she breached the terms of her suspended sentence by missing probation meetings or turning up while under the influence of drugs so was back in court this week.
Her prison sentence of 13 months and two weeks was activated.
Eynon flew into a rage and attacked her partner after coming downstairs to make a cup of tea to find there was no milk.
He suffered injuries to his arm and hand — but did not report it for three days in case of implications for her daughter.
Instead, he left and went to a shop to have his wound cleaned and bandaged – then headed to Morrisons to pick up more milk.
When he returned home, he tried to calm Eynon down, but was unsuccessful.
Eynon told police: “I would’ve stabbed him a long time ago if I was going to stab him.”
Eynon, of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, had admitted unlawful wounding.
Her relationship was described as “toxic” at Swansea crown court.
