British Airways pilot secretly filmed himself spanking nude cabin crew member with riding crop, court hears
A BRITISH Airways pilot secretly filmed himself spanking a nude member of cabin crew with a riding crop, a court has heard.
Tim Capron then sent the clip to a pal without her consent, it is said.
The pair had discussed fetishes after meeting via the Tinder app.
After sex, he asked her to wear a blindfold before he hit her on the bum with the crop.
The woman told a jury she was OK with that but later saw he had sent photos and videos from WhatsApp.
Capron, 37, is reported to have told her: “I am so sorry.
“I am glad that you caught me doing it because I should not have done it.”
She reported the Oxford graduate, who earns £90,000 a year, to police and he was arrested two weeks later in September 2021.
Cops found a vile image on his phone and he was convicted of having extreme pornography last year.
Yesterday, it was heard that Capron had texted fellow BA pilot Steve Farnworth to say: “When I have got her blindfolded is it safe for you to see a few videos?
“Ha ha ha.”
Prosecutor Stefan Weidmann said this showed “you knew what you were planning to do was bang out of order”.
Mr Weidmann said to a sobbing Capron: “You are an educated man, Oxford, you fly a plane worth millions.
“You knew full well that she did not consent to being filmed.”
Capron told the jury: “I thought she would enjoy Steve enjoying what she looked like, so to speak.
“At the end of the day, that was my mistake.”
Capron, of Taplow, Berks, revealed he had enjoyed threesomes and had been filmed.
He was suspended on full pay by BA in December.
Capron denies one count of voyeurism.
The trial at Reading crown court continues.
