Turkish airstrike kills 1 in N. Iraq

BAGHDAD, July 18 (Xinhua) -- A Kurdish man was killed Thursday in a Turkish airstrike in Duhok province in Iraq's semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan, a Kurdish security source said.

The source said on condition of anonymity that the incident occurred in the morning when Turkish warplanes bombarded positions in the Shiladze area in the northeastern part of Duhok province.
