Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded on a weak note on Friday morning after hitting new record high levels in early trade, but failed to hold on to the gains and were later trading lower tracking weak trends from global markets.

The 30-share BSE Sensex hit its new all-time high of 81,587.76 in initial trade but failed to carry forward the momentum. At 9:35 am, Sensex was at 81,325.54, down 17.92 points or 0.02% lower. Nifty was at 24,749.20, down 51.65 points or 0.21% lower.
