Question of 'ongoing violation': UN court opinion due on occupied Palestinian land

The UN's top court will deliver its opinion on the legal consequences of Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967 on Friday, amid growing international pressure over the Gaza war. Although non-binding, the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) advisory opinion comes as concern mounts over Israel's actions following Hamas's October 7 attacks.
