Kate Beckinsale Thanks Britney Spears for Defending Her from 'Cruel' Instagram Comments

Kate Beckinsale is sharing her appreciation for Britney Spears.

On Wednesday (July 17), the 42-year-old “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to share a post praising the 50-year-old Pearl Harbor actress, while also slamming the “cruel” comments she faces on social media.

“Have you guys ever seen the movie Serendipity with Kate Beckinsale??? Well let me tell you…if you haven’t you definitely should!!! I adore Kate Beckinsale especially because she’s from London!!!” Britney wrote.

“I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she needs more age appropriate content,” Britney continued. “She’s in her fifties and I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old!!!”

The following day, Kate responded Britney‘s comments while also thanking her for defending her.
