Kim and ex-husband Kanye West share sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, along with daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6.

“Figuring out, well, where did she get it? And then I’ve passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly,” Kim explained. “And we got it under control, and I didn’t know anything about it. But having to learn about it and figuring out where it came from, and that it’s hereditary.”

Vitiligo is a “disease that causes loss of skin color in patches. The discolored areas usually get bigger with time. The condition can affect the skin on any part of the body. It can also affect hair and the inside of the mouth,” according to the Mayo Clinic. Model Winnie Harlow suffers from vitiligo and so did the late Michael Jackson.

In the new episode of The Kardashians, Kim revealed how she nearly sliced off two of her fingers in a gruesome accident.
