2025 White Sox schedule released

The 125th season on the South Side starts as a cold one!

One thing stands out about the start of the 2025 season: It’s gonna be cold.

Beyond a home opener that has the warm-weather Angels playing in Chicago on MARCH 27, the entire first month of games come in cold-weather cities. In fact, you could argue that until the END OF MAY, at Baltimore, there are no games in reliably warm locations. Within those first two months there are games vs. Milwaukee (roof), Houston, Miami, Seattle (roof) and Texas — but they’re all in Chicago!

Wow.

Opening Day is again in March, perplexingly against a team from Southern California. The Crosstown games are at Wrigley for three games May 16-18, then at Sox Park July 25-27, in both cases weekend series.

There’s one behemoth homestand, ending August, totaling 10 games, hosting the Twins, Royals and Yankees. The longest road trip of the year somehow doesn’t take the White Sox south or west, but to Boston, Minnesota and wherever the A’s are playing at the end of April.

If you’re making your division-clinching plans, book New York City and Washington, D.C., as the White Sox finish 2025 on a road trip to Yankee Stadium and Nats Park.

There are no game times given, or broadcast information, but once the White Sox and MLB tweak the slate, we’ll be posting again here.
