However, Mandy is hiding a secret from her boyfriend, and the longer it goes on, the bigger it becomes.

Mandy owns and runs a beauty salon called PampaManda in the village.

But it seems the business isn’t flourishing and Mandy is keen to hide her money worries.

Later, she opens up to Rhona – who she has grown close to in recent weeks – about her financial troubles, but continues to hide them from everyone else.

Even as worries over the finances mount, she doesn’t confide in Paddy, but could that spell trouble for the couple further down the line?

Emmerdale fans will hope not, as they’ve been delighted to see the couple back together.

Mandy and Paddy became engaged earlier this year, but having a wedding to plan may just add to the bride-to-be’s money worries.

However, producer Sophie Roper recently opened up about the impending nuptials and what fans can expect.

She said: “Elsewhere in the Dingle world, we’ve got Mandy and Paddy building towards a wedding.

“It is Mandy and Paddy so that’s going to be filled with fun.

“We’ve had Mandy’s dress made in-house by one of our dressmakers. It’s going to be very Mandy, it’s going to be very big, it’s going to be very fun.”

She added: “So look out for some fun in and amongst all of that with the Dingles clan as well.”
