Police escort ill patient to hospital

Police on Friday said their intervention ensured the swift and safe transportation of an unconscious patient to the Limassol general hospital.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when an officer on a motorcycle spotted a vehicle speeding on Leontiou street.

The officer approached the vehicle and discovered that the driver was urgently transporting his diabetic brother, who had lost consciousness, to the hospital.

The police officer used his siren and lights to escort the vehicle through traffic, ensuring a clear path to the medical facility.

Health professionals at Limassol general hospital were able to successfully revive the patient, who was then admitted for further treatment and observation.
