BA pilot ‘filmed himself spanking naked crew member then shared video with pal’

A British Airways pilot secretly filmed himself spanking a naked cabin crew member with a riding crop before sending the clip in to a pal without her consent, a court has heard.

Tim Capron, 37, met the woman on Tinder before swapping messages about their sexual fantasies and fetishes, Reading Crown Court was told.

After having sex, he is said to have asked her to wear a blindfold before using the crop to smack her bum.

She told jurors she was fine with it until she saw Capron had taken photos and recorded video of the session which he then shared with a friend on WhatsApp.

He was said to have apologised, telling her: ‘I am so sorry.

‘I am glad that you caught me doing it because I should not have done it.’

Capron was arrested two weeks later in September 2021 after the woman reported him to the police, according to The Sun.

The £90,000-a-year pilot is said to have messaged BA colleague Steve Farnworth asking if it was safe to send ‘a few videos’ when ‘I have got her blindfolded’.

Prosecutor Stefan Weidmann told him: ‘You knew what you were planning to do was bang out of order.

‘You are an educated man, Oxford, you fly a plane worth millions. You knew full well that she did not consent to being filmed.’

Capron, who was suspended by BA on full pay in December, told the court: ‘I thought she would enjoy Steve enjoying what she looked like, so to speak.

‘At the end of the day, that was my mistake.’

Capron, of Taplow in Berkshire, denies one count of voyeurism.
