Hardik's captaincy stint in T20Is saw him leading the side in 16 T20Is, before he got injured last year during the ODI World Cup. He has also led the Gujarat Titans for two Indian Premier League seasons, with Gujarat finishing as winners under Hardik in 2022 and runners-up in 2023, before the allrounder returned to Mumbai Indians this year and replaced Rohit Sharma as the skipper.
