Embraer reports increased aircraft deliveries and order backlogs during the second quarter
Brazil-based global major aerospace group Embraer has reported that, during the second quarter of this year, it delivered 170% more commercial jets (airliners) than it had done during the first quarter of the year. Second quarter 2024 (2Q24) deliveries of commercial jets totalled 19, as against the figure of seven for 1Q24. Total commercial jet deliveries during the first half of this year (1H24) came to 26 aircraft (the equivalent figure for 1H23 had been 24). Also in quarter-on-quarter terms, the group’s deliveries of executive (business) jets rose 50% in 2Q24. In numbers, 27 executive jets were delivered in 2Q24, compared with 18 in 1Q24. For 1H24, total business jet deliveries came to 45, as against the 38 delivered during 1H23.
