Rail line that will connect Mizoram likely to be complete by July 2025: Officials

The Bairabi-Sairang railway line is 93% complete, targeting completion by July next year. Spanning 51.38 km and costing Rs 8,213.72 crore, it will boost Mizoram's economy and tourism. It comprises four stations, 55 major bridges, 87 minor bridges, and 32 tunnels, reducing Mizoram-Assam travel time. Sanctioned in 2008-09 and started in 2015, Governor Kambhampati reviewed the project.
