When was the last time you heard of a business or restaurant with a 97% satisfaction rate?

Recent research by the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) , gathered in collaboration with Heartbeat International, the National Institute of Family and Life AdvocatesCare-Net, and Focus on the Family, found this astounding statistic by reviewing self-reported exit surveys from pregnancy centers.

“The consistently and exceptionally high rates demonstrate positive experiences, which for this national study of 2022 data remained exceedingly high at 97.4%, the CLI report said. “The countless stories mothers and fathers have shared about the high quality of services, as well as the love and support of people who came alongside them at pregnancy centers, continue to reflect the gratitude of clients for the care they received and the choice they made even through very difficult circumstances.”

All the talk about abortion centers and pregnancy help centers should come down to one simple question: Which one helps to improve the lives of pregnant women?

The “pro-choice” mantra insists that pregnancy centers are “fake” clinics that pressure young women with lies into keeping their baby.

Apparently, most of the women who visit pregnancy centers don’t feel that way, yet all the good work that pregnancy center clients have benefited from goes largely ignored by the media.

The study also found an increase in a wide range of services provided mostly without charge by pregnancy centers (*a fraction of centers charge a low fee for STI testing).

-Free medical services had an estimated value of $175,960,392

– There was a 142% increase in pregnancy centers providing and overseeing the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol and providing resources and support for women following drug-induced abortions between 2019 – 2022.

-881 centers reported serving a total of 17,696 women after they took abortion drugs.

-The following health care services continue to grow: lactation/breastfeeding consultations, STI testing and treatment, and fertility awareness-based methods.

-Free education and support services had an estimated value of $113,355,994.

-409,409 moms and dads attended prenatal and parenting education programs, at an estimated value of $76,002,687.

-Maternity homes have doubled in the last four years.

-The distribution of free material items such as maternity and baby clothes, cribs, car seats, strollers, and diapers to 808,737 people had an estimated value of $78,580,127.

Individual pregnancy help centers similarly report high satisfaction rates.

At APS Medical (Associated Pregnancy Services) in Milwaukee, Wisc., Abby Strong, Client Services director, points to very positive reviews received by the center’s clients, with an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5. Some comments received include:

“I felt sale and like I mattered.”

“It’s so nice knowing there’s a supportive group and services when you think you had nothing or nobody.”

“It felt great getting help and not feeling bad that I needed help.”

“I find this place very welcoming and very caring counselors. I wouldn’t change a thing.”

“They gave me the info I need to begin caring for my baby and to get my life on track spiritually.”

CompassCare of Rochester, New York, has received 5-star ratings from 95% of their clients.

Among many reviews, here are a few CompassCare has received recently:

“I had two nurses come in late in the day specifically and very last minute just for me. I was pressured into [a chemical] abortion and immediately regretted it terribly, I was able to get an ultrasound and progesterone and most importantly I was able to get hope…. I am not sure what the future holds but I am grateful that these ladies did everything they could for me!”

“My experience was amazing! Everyone I encountered was super welcoming, sweet, comforting and respectful. All of my questions and concerns were handled and answered efficiently. Would definitely recommend!”

“The nurse I had was amazing and I’m so happy with my experience here!”

Video testimonials by CompassCare clients about their experience can be viewed HERE and HERE.

The Advocacy Pregnancy and Parenting Resource Center has had similar positive interactions with clients.

Katie Getz, executive director, shared one client’s experience.

“She is 21 years old and has two girls, one due later this month and the other 18 months old. She took our newborn education classes in 2022/23 for her first pregnancy. She speaks Spanish at home and her boyfriend, now husband, Mario, speaks only Spanish. She delivered her first child in 2023. She came back to us in 2024 with a new pregnancy and a desire to take our parenting class. After the parenting class she gave the following feedback:

“I give an A because I gained some knowledge and won’t be going blindly at parenthood.”

“I give an A because it gave me inside information on the different stages my child would go through, and how to navigate (them)”

“My favorite part was the question and answer at the end because it gave me more time to think about (what I just learned) and how to handle future situations.”

The client completed high school and is now married and has good support from her husband. They visit her mom and her three-year-old boy. So, the client’s little brother and daughter play and enjoy each other’s company. Success!

More feedback from the client:

“I have learned just about all of the ins and outs of active parenting.”

“I have learned a lot of things that I used to have a different view of.”

“All the things were laid out and simple to understand.”

“The best part of the class was being able to share and learn more about parenting and how to deal with certain situations.”

CLI  Executive Director Karen Czarnecki told Pregnancy Help News, “The Hope for a New Generation report highlights the tremendous impact pregnancy centers are making across the nation – serving nearly 1 million women and men and providing them almost entirely free services at a value of more than $350 million in 2022 alone. This data directly refutes the narrative abortion activists push that abortion is a woman’s only choice.”

“From medical care to emotional support to material needs, these centers are making a positive impact in the lives of women across the country, and in the post-Dobbs era the prolife movement has been invigorated with a new sense of mission to increase the support these centers offer to women and couples facing unexpected pregnancies,” Czarnecki said. “By ignoring these facts and suppressing information about the services pregnancy centers offer, the mainstream media denies women the choice that they claim to support.”
