A MUM-OF-THREE has come to rescue with an easy hack for those whose little ones refuse to eat vegetables.

Unlike many parents around the world, mother-of-three only known as LMBambini on Instagram has never struggled with feeding her kids veggies.

Although vegetables are full of essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals, a great number of children find the often bitter taste too intense for their liking.

While little kids very easily accept sweet foods and grow to love them, the same can’t be said about eating a vegetable-rich diet – but according to the savvy mum, there’s an easy way to fix it.

”So I realised the other day that my kids are really good at eating their vegetables and they always have been.

”And I was like, how I have my managed to pull that off?” the mother said in her video.

The secret hack to get your fussy foodie to eat their five-a-day?

According to the mum, it’s all about serving the veggies at the right temperature.

She explained that rather than handing a plate full of hot vegetables, she serves them cold.

”So, if it’s a broccoli I run it under the tap, cool it down and I chop up peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes or carrots.”

The mother-of-three will ensure half of their plate is filled with the cold veggies – and the other side will be a warm dish, which she will tell the kids is ”hot”.

This means that the children will munch on the healthy veggies whilst the ”hot” food is cooling down.

The simple yet effective trick has been a game-changer, with her three kids now automatically reaching for the vegetables first.

The ultimate ”mum hack” has taken the internet by storm, winning the page over 220k views and dozens of comments.

While some thanked her, others shared their own go-to methods, with one writing: ”I put out a plate of raw veggies on the table while I finish up dinner and don’t say a thing…usually when I serve the meal the veggie plate is empty!”

It can be infuriating, as well as worrying, when you’ve got a fussy child. Trust me, I know, I’ve got two of them! But there are some tips the NHS suggest that I’ve found helpful.
The first is not to worry about what your child does or doesn’t eat in a day. Think about a week instead, and see if their intake is balanced and healthy.
“If your child is active and gaining weight, and they seem well, then they’re getting enough to eat,” the NHS says on their website.
You should aim to include food from the four main food groups for your child – fruits and vegetables, starchy carbs, dairy and protein.
If they don’t seem to like a food the first time you offer it, don’t give up. According to research, it takes between eight and 15 times of offering the food before they will actually like it.
Try to eat with your child, and eat the same food. If they see you tucking in, they’re more likely to do so themselves.
Don’t overload their plate – you can always add more if they clear it, but having one loaded with food can often seem overwhelming.
Another thing to remember is not to overload kids with snacks. Two healthy snacks per day is “plenty”, according to NHS guidelines.
Something else I’ve found useful is to get your kids involved in the cooking process. My daughter has been much more willing to try new food if she’s made it herself.”

Someone else couldn’t believe, writing: ”Wow is this genius or what?!”

Another cried: ”Where were you an year ago??”

However, not everyone was convinced the trick would work, as some were quite sceptical.

One mum said: Uhm.. my kid will just wait for the other half of the plate to be cold.”

”This worked when they were younger, now at 7 and 9, they wont touch any,” a fellow parent chuckled.
