Government issues draft adjudication and appeal rules under Telecommunications Act

Appeals against decisions can be made within 30 days. The rules include penalties for false evidence, digital implementation via a government portal, and a structured timeline for inquiries. Funds from penalties will be credited to the Consolidated Fund of India.
