Leeds United Star Not Spotted Leaving Bus At Harrogate, Fuelling Uncertainty

There is further uncertainty about the future of one of Leeds United’s stars as he was not spotted leaving the team coach before the friendly against Harrogate Town tonight.

 

Leeds have arrived for a pre-season friendly against Harrogate and it offers Daniel Farke a chance to have a look at many players who will be at his disposal next term.

 

Max Wober was on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach last season and featured regularly for them, ending with 25 Bundesliga appearances.

 

Following the end of the spell though, Wober is back at Elland Road, awaiting clarity on his future.

Monchengladbach have been attempting to sign Wober again but the Austria international’s involvement in Euro 2024 deferred any immediate solution.

 

Wober instructed his agent not to contact him during the tournament but now with it being over the 26-year-old’s future has yet again come under the scanner.

 

 

He was not spotted getting off the Leeds coach at Harrogate and there will surely be questions for Farke post match.

 

The Whites’ inability to secure immediate promotion back to the Premier League, has complicated the situation regarding Wober’s future.

 

 

It remains to be seen if he has been given extra time off following his involvement at Euro 2024.

 

Leeds had wanted to hold on to Wober last summer, but he triggered a clause in his contract to head away on loan.
