Kate Hudson addressed a rumor about her movie Fool’s Gold with Matthew McConaughey.

If you forgot, the duo (who famously starred in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) reunited for the action-packed rom-com in 2008.

A rumor from set picked up steam and suggested that Kate “forced” Matthew to wear deodorant while they filmed together. It’s become something of an “urban legend” over the years.

While on Watch What Happens Live, Kate adamantly denied the rumor.

“He doesn’t wear deodorant. And by the way, I don’t either,” she explained. “My thing was I could smell him from a mile… Because we were so close.”

During the interview, Kate also addressed her brief relationship with a very popular actor and musician.
