Boateng's girlfriend got into a minor car accident before calling him to come to the scene, where he and Gomez-Mesa argued because the victim was at the corner recording the incident, sources said.

The man allegedly smacked the phone out of the victim’s hand during several arguments before the suspect allegedly pulled a sharp weapon and stabbed Gomez-Mesa, according to police and sources.
