2024 ITT Provincial Championships Postponed

Ontario Cycling and Performance Driven Events are extremely disappointed to have to announce the postponement of the 2024 ITT Provincial Championships. After working with a number of different policing services, we have been unable to fulfil the paid-duty officers that we are required to have in place to safely run the event. Greg Rawson has shared that In over 15 years of running events in the cycling industry, this is the first time that we’ve been unable to run an event due to a shortage of officers.   

 

We are committed to finding a replacement location for the 2024 Championships and will be providing an update as soon as we have confirmed a new location and date.

 

We are offering full refunds to all participants but registrations will stand for the future event and we will re-open registration once we have a new date and location.  

 

The safety of our riders, the officials and the volunteers are our main priority and without proper traffic management controls, we cannot in good conscious go forward with the event.
