Final round of Connacht U-18 Championships

On what proved to be a day of tough scoring where only one person broke par all day in either the boys or girls section Greystones Golf Club had 4 representatives taking part.

In the girls section Isabella Stewart had a round of 81 which gave her an overall total of +18 to finish in 14th place. Shauna Seifried also had an 81 to finish at +31 and in tied 21st. The girls championship was won by Kate Dillon (Oughterard) on a score of level par.

Meanwhile in the boys section Will O’Riordan had a round of 79 to finish in 8th place on 3 over. The other Greystones who made this cut was Jamie Anderson had a 3rd round of 76 to finish at 6 over in tied 12th position. The boys championship was won by Harry McArdle (Warrenpoint) with a score of 10 under
