Missouri judge scolds AG's office and orders release of woman whose murder conviction was overturned

A Missouri judge is once again ordering that a woman whose murder conviction was overturned must be released. Sandra Hemme has already served 43 years in prison. Judge Ryan Horsman overturned her conviction last month and ordered her release, but Republican Attorney General Andrew Bailey fought it in the courts. On Friday, Horsman has said Hemme must be released by 6 p.m. CDT or he would bring Bailey into court next week and hold him in contempt. Hemme is now 64 years old.
