New Jersey shelters offer $50 adoption fees for dogs

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Three New Jersey animal shelters are hoping to find loving homes for dogs at their shelter by offering $50 adoption all weekend long, Associated Humane Societies announced on Friday.

“Adopting an adult dog comes with numerous benefits,” read a statement provided by AHS. Adult dogs are typically past the puppy stage, meaning they often require less training and are more likely to be housebroken. They are also eager to become part of a family and bring immediate joy and companionship.”

Those interested in adopting are encouraged to take advantage of this limited-time promotion, during which staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist in the adoption process.
